I bought a new Prius on Feb 18th from Tracy. I got my Fasttrack on Feb 21st. I just needed the temporary registration to get the transponder. My vehicle has still not been registered with the DMV and they cannot find the Vin in the system. In this case should I submit my application for the sticker? Or should I wait. I am getting mixed opinions from the DMV...one person said I can apply as soon as DMV processes my paperwork and my vin is in the system...other one said I have to wait till I get my license plate as that was needed for the application. Can the experienced Prius owners guide me as to what I should be doing? Thanks Moni
