Hi all. I am reluctantly selling my white 03 Prius. 123,000 miles. No problems. iPod integration. Very very clean. Asking $5,500. If interested PM me. If this is posted in the wrong area, my apologies.
Hello, Just a quick question. How did you integrate the ipod to the factory deck. What cable did you use and where did you get it. Thx
Priusgaryk, I integrated iPod/iphone into factory stereo using USA SPEC PA20-TOY interface. USA SPEC (PA20-TOY) iPod to Factory Radio Interface for Toyota/Lexus - iPod Adapter with Aux Input:Amazon:Car Electronics I think I got it from eBay. I also needed to get the genuine factory CD changer harness for my car as it did not come with a that option. I found someone selling parts from a wrecked prius on Craigslist. It's a little Y-cable if I remember correctly. This solution is all plug-and-play. You can't really scroll though songs or control iPod very well , just advances to next track. This is why it isn't technically supported for this car by USA SPEC. Charges iPod or iPhone. Sounds great. Let me know if you have any questions. Id be glad to help. ericbecky The color is White. Almost flawless. Options include the side curtain airbags and cruise control. All else as Standard. I do not have navigation in it. I was very very close to getting a used unit and putting it in, but the iphone GPS worked so well and, as I mentioned, integrated into stereo. I will post pics this weekend on my local craigslist ad. I would be happy to email pics or share link to anyone interested.
