My 2010 Prius III has the JBL sound system and built in XM, NO NAVIGATION. When I bought the car the dealer offered to install a USB port to integrate an iPod with the car, I declined. Now I would like to add one for my iPhone 5s but the dealer says its no longer made. Does anyone know what this part number is so I can hunt for one online?
Why not use a charger which plugs in receptacle which is USB? Incase Dual Car USB Charger with Lightning to USB Cable - Apple Store (U.S.)
USB Interface Kit (PT233-47100) The USB Interface Kit allows connectivity to external peripheral devices such as an iPod, USB jump drive or any other USB connected device.
Do you want a nav? I'm changing mine out (I have a prius 2010 V) for an aftermarket system. Not completely sure if I want to sell the OEM nav or not.
Few things - Someone else confirm, but I recall the iPod interface kit for our non-Nav / non-USB cars disables the Bluetooth handsfree phone functionality. I'm looking to get a portable music player (probably an iPod) and use the AUX jack. Not so into Sirius XM radio programming, FM reception stinks and, oh nevermind about the CDs.
Going for AppRadio 3, with ARUnchained. There are a lot out there, but I have 2 requirements. 1) Capactive touch screen 2) My phone (or HDMI android stick) NAV can be used instead of "built in nav". I hate built-in nav with the fury of ten thousand suns.
