I've had more speeding tickets in Prius then in sport cars I've owned.

I really like it, but most people in the US think it is stupid. Oregon and one other state require fuel stations to fill the cars. It works great they come to the window and find out what I want, they fill the car and give me a reciept and off I go still dry and clean.

No food or drink in my Prius. Gotta wear clean cloths and not have dirty shoes either :) The one time it was at the dealership for some rework for the clear wrap, I put on a seat cover on the drivers seat.

    After:

    * one attendant tried to yank the license plate off my car while trying to find the gas cap,
    * another set the gas cap down in a pool of rain water,
    * another topped off against my explicit orders, unril the tank seriously overflowed (since made illegal),
    * several others have taken a long time to get to me,
    * one didn't even see me until I absent-mindedly did the job myself, than tried to find someone to pay,

I generally try now to avoid refueling in Oregon.

Same thing here in Va, ride your nice person until you change lanes, not speed and never pass. SMH! It has been unbelievable the reaction from people for owning a Prius. I have been unfriended on Facebook, and lost 3 what I thought were good friends! Some people are just CRAZY!

In Chicago they stay right on your rear whether you are driving a Prius or a Chevrolet. They are nuts here and they will run in to you too. Drive here in the winter and you don't care too much about living.

Now you know who your real friends are. Sad that people judge others by what they own.

Simple solution! Slam on your brakes! Then get your car phone out and video tape him/her. Make sure they see your cam/phone in your hand and that you're filming them. Then they generally will just flip you off and pass you while you get their license plate number just in case they try to retaliate!

    (Disclaimer: don't do this. It's bad mmm'kay!!).

Gee3, I can see several scenarios playing out with your suggestion in Texas:

    1. Best case: Guy drives by and gives me the finger.
    2. Guy smashes into my bumper and I smash into the concrete barrier, totalling my car and causing 2 hours worth of backup on the highway.
    3. Guy drives by and gives me the finger while I'm recording him. I immediately get run over by the guy driving behind him.
    4. I get shot.

:p Nobody wins when someone chooses to road rage. I do think that we should implement a program that a former coworker of mine suggested, where we mount a little nerf gun on our cars which can shoot semipermanent, suction cupped foam arrows marked "idiot" at cars doing stupid stuff. Once a car accumulates 3 arrows, the police can pull them over and give them an "Idiot Citation."

Random - I like that idea!

And as a former Texan myself I absolutely know what you are talking about. (Hence my disclaimer. Haha!). Knowing my luck if I did what I said I'd not only get shot, I'd crash and then get ticketed for using my cell phone while driving or something like that! Lol!

I think I'd run out of "idiot darts" pretty quickly around here.
Until the PD starts taking tailgating, speeding, aggressive driving, etc... seriously nothing will change.

In Nashville, it is always the Rams and F-150's that tailgate me for no reason. I also had a Nissan Leaf that tailgated me. I was going 45 on a 35 mile zone too.
