My phone calls to dealers at the end of April paid off. Last Thursday, June 3, I picked up my Salsa #9 in Bradford, PA. A five hour drive through some of the most beautiful areas of Pennsylvania. The dealer took photos of us shaking hands by the rear of the car for a story they are going to run in the local newspaper on Tuesday, June 8. The drive back was fun. I averaged 52 mpg through some hilly country. Not bad. The car rides smooth and quiet. The seats are more comfortable than the 02 Passat I traded in with leather seats. I love all the bells and whistles in this car. This is the coolest car I have ever owned! I installed the EV switch last night and it works perfectly. Thank you to this board for the instructions. I drove almost 2 miles before the ICE kicked in. I think this button should be used sparingly for it does drain the batteries rather quickly. I love the stereo, cup holders, and the nav. I am still reading about the nav. I know it has it's limits but it is fun to play with. It has helped me already in a couple of situations. My kids love the voice command feature. Sorry BBC, I hope you get yours soon.
