Poor guy, could have crushed the Gremlin for the same effect, sold the Prius for a nice profit way over $700.
The Prius was performing really well until the engine failed. Of course they were looking for anything to make the Prius look bad.
What were they trying to prove here!?! I might be stupid but i don't get it. You could make anything look bad, all depend on the angle you showing it or want to show it.
I believe the Prius was low on oil, they forgot to check it and drove it really hard for a couple minutes and that's all she wrote!!
Honestly, the Prius made a good showing. Besides the engine failure, but even that makes sense considering how rough the car looked prior to using it and the fact that it already had close to 300,000 miles on it before thrashing it. For all we know, it could have had no oil or already had a mechanical issue that was ignored and them they decided to race it. Overall, the Prius showed that it could hold its own.
Totally agree. They were trying hard to prove how uncool the Prius was and luck saved them to look like couple of stupid guys on national TV.
