Anyone have experience with "Eneos" 0/20W synthetic motor oil? I'm taking my 2010 to a recommended indie auto repair shop for an oil change and that's what they use.
Previous thread had an oil analysis comparing specs for Toyota 0-20 and Mobil 1 0-20: the Toyota oil was noticeably better on some critical issues. I would use Toyota if possible, Mobil 1 if necessary, and only use other brands if you see that the specs for the oil equal Toyota specs. Engine repair is too expensive to go cheap on oil IMO.
Oh, no. Not another oil question. Eneos is a high quality oil. It's made by Nippon Oil. Not very common in the United States, it's one of the major brands in Japan. I used the 5w30 my old Toyota. Most NAPA stores either carry it or can order it. It's good stuff.
Lol your local dealership gets oil in bulk either 55 gal drums or pumped into the dealers holding tank. You don't know what brand nor type they are pumping into your car motor?? I been a mechanic for over 20+ years building engines 4, 6 , 8 cyl high performance to diesels I can feel the difference between some brands , weights and proven on dyno. Eneos , Royal purple and Mobil 1 are my choices! Eneos special hybrid motor oil haven't used it yet!
