Hey guys so I installed a new 12 inch subwoofer and amp to my Prius C and everything is connected correctly and the sub works great, but If I turn it up to loud while driving, the entire audio shuts off until I restart the car... Any help?
You might have a short in the system - the blue remote turn on wire on my car was shorted to the chassis of the radio, and when I turned the sound up, it cut out.
What ohms are the sub and what can the amp handle? Sounds like some protection circuit is shutting down the amp.
