Has anyone received a CA Green HOV Sticker yet?

Over 36k. Oy. I'm still waiting. Dealership said they submitted electronically on 2/24. They said the stickers will be sent to me directly......which I find odd.

I actually called the DMV today and they said they are currently processing those received on 2/20. They also said that I shouldn't worry....there were enough stickers left to last for a while.

Jeffws....do you mind if I ask when your sticker app was submitted (I assume by the dealer, yes?)?

 

Im not sure when it was submitted but I know it was before I bought the vehicle. From what Ive read and have been told the dealers can submit for the stickers as soon as they have a VIN #.

 

Mailed my form 2/26. Check for fee processed today, 03/12, on my end! DMV stamp on the check is dated 03/08. Anxiously waiting for the stickers to come in the mail.
Will update on issue #, but I think everyone who applies within a couple of months should be fine.

After 7+ years of commuting 50+ miles per day in the LA freeways…I will probably weep when they come in.
…and laugh victoriously as I ride the HOV during rush hour!!!

 

mailed mine 2/11 received stickers on 3/6 and I'm about a 1 day mail time from sac.. number 34,5##

 

I sent my application for replacement decals on Saturday February 15th, 2014 and they arrived on March 10, 2014. I notice these new decals have a hologram effect to them. I'm still not sure if I prefer the original (2012) version to this new one.

 

Woot! They have arrived. So, ordered via dealer service 2/24. Picked up from dealer 3/12. 36,355.

 

Why do some folks X out part of their decal number in their posts? I don't see what the privacy issue is?

I put X's in place of a few numbers because I couldn't remember what my full number for my sticker was. I just knew mine was in the 32,000 mark. I was currently at work when I wrote that post and did not know what my exact number was.

 

maybe off topic, but i just got an email stating that my $1500 rebate was just mailed.
applied on jan 1, 2014, and now its getting mailed to me.

 

Put mine in the mail on 3/3. The check showed cashed in my account on 3/11. I received them in the mail today. No. 356xx.

 

Received mine 3/14. DMV received 2/27. Number is also 356xx.

 

I just don't think anyone is all that interested in my exact number. It's not like I'm close to first or close to last.

 

Update from ARB: As of 3/12/14, 36,230 green stickers have been issued. So 3,770 left.

 

The stickers seemed to be processed in bursts. Another decal, issued on the same date 3/8, had the number 353xx.

 

Mine (00012) has in the background a pattern of miniature copies of the state seal, which show up as the sticker is moved. Would this be the hologram effect you mentioned? If so, I think they are all the same.

 

95% of the time, I am able to hand my clients out their stickers with the purchase now. In rare cases, they are not yet here but arrive pretty soon after purchase. (Jeff can attest to that) Harder to do on weekends, but most of you know that you get a message from me PDQ about my mailing them or you comin' for 'em.
ON the faster selling color choices, ie the grays and silvers, the cars sell faster than the stickers arrive, so hang in there on those. We have 200+ PlugIns with HOV stickers already in most cars' files. I do not slap them on the bumper. Sticker placement is very personal and I also have good advice for those BEFORE you put all those green stickers on your cars!

How do you check with DMV about these stickers and your application?

Is there a separate phone number for the sticker group, or do you call the regular DMV number (2 hours + hold time today)?
