Hey guys and girls. Anyone here in So Cal can recommend a stereo shop? I'm in Simi Valley but willing to travel a little if anyone has a place they have used before. The stock system is ok but looking to replace all speakers and add a sub and a 5 channel amp. Don't want to spend more then $2000 for everything installed. I appreciate it. Have a good day!!
don't use covina sound. i did my own install w the exception of the subwoofer box, i had them build me the box for my sa-8 v2. it was poor quality and built to incorrect specs.
Good looking out. I got in touch with OEM audio in orange county. There are in the process of designing a system for our cars. Looking at there you tube videos and listening to people who heard there systems they seem like the ones to use. I'm in on the list to get a system hopefully in the near future. I will post up dates when this all happens. Really need some more UMFF in the stock system.

Yeah. I have been in touch with Daniel myself and they are about to get me my system. they are in the process of final tuning this system for our cars. I'm hopefully looking to get it put in March 1 if all goes well. Waiting for a confirmation from Daniel. Will keep you folks up to date as it goes. I hope it's what he says it is.
He said it was around $1500 I will speak with him this week and try to get the information for everyone. I hope they can do my car this Saturday.
I read the subwoofer enclosure blocks the exhaust port of the battery from the OEM thread. I'm interested in this as well but not 100%.
I will find out about that. Good point! I just looked at it myself and it looks like it will. Get back with you when I get more info.
Really Prius C pilot!! are you in for getting this system as well? So your saying it's worth the $1500 to get it done? Was it clean and crisp still having some good bass? Thanks for your input and information.
Oh by the way did you get any pictures or video or this system? Would be nice to hear it. I mean of course better in person. I got some pictures from them and it was from a blue Prius C.
I heard it with the exhaust blocking encloser and the bass was very good. The sound was VERY clean and crisp. The best I have ever heard but I'm not and audio enthusiast. It's worth the price because it also installed like factory. If I was ready to spend the $$$ I would get it. I'd be surprised if you would be disappointed in the sound.
yO, Hey I just got a reply to your concern about the battery exhaust port. Daniel Informed me that this was taken into consideration. They built the sub-box around it knowing not to block it. Sounds like they did there homework. Will have to wait and see after they install there system. Mike
