Low estimated EV only mileage

    I have my garage at 45 degrees, the wife does projects in the other side and thats the lowest my stat goes!;)
    Today -18 below when I went to coffee came home 2 hours later about -12 below, 5.5 miles round trip all EV.:D

    Must have nuts also, because you have to be nuts to drive home from coffee with no heat!

    It's 2.75 miles. It would be stupid to turn on the heat. He is in the car probably 7 minutes max, probably more like 5 or 6.

    You don't get much heat in 2.7 miles at -12 below anyway. You just get heat and your home turning it off.

    You are correct! 5 to 6 minutes. Don't even needs gloves for such a short trip. :D Would not like to go very much farther however! :p

    :)Low 60 degree temperatures today. Had no problem making my 10 mile work commute. Arrived home with 1.4 EV left. Hurry up spring and summer.

    -12 I pre heat screw the milage, and where I live 2.75 would take about 12 plenty of time for heat to come up!
