I got a mail from the dealer, which I first hoped was the exact delivery date for my Prius (was told mid Feb.)... Guess if I got dissapointed when all they could tell me was that they had delays in delivering Prius in Sweden. Best bet is March at the moment with a possible further delay. So I just got one thing to say: [sarcasm mode=on] All americans stop buying PRIUS!!!!! [sarcasm mode=off] I want my car and I'm not suprised if Toyota made a descision to favor the american market (since it's a tiny bit larger then the swedish one.. )... Soo I gotta wait another month for MY car, and it's looking like a total of 5 months... Jeeezzzz... But on the other hand if I want an enviromental safe car I'm gonna have to wait even longer if I cancel this order and make a new on from another manufactur... Cheers, Zappa
Hang in there, it is so worth it! And you're right on about other mfgs... Hope your baby comes soon. Until then, keep following all the good stuff here on PriusChat. I've learned so much here, more than my dealer. I waited 2 months for my '04. My significant other, she waited 2 months for her '05. We couldn't be more spoiled or happy now: his 'n' hers Prii.
Weeeeee I just got a mail from the dealer telling me the Prius has landed... Got to pick it up next Thursday 2:nd of March... "Only" 5 months after the order... I sure hopes it's worth it, I know it will be... Anyone fancy to buy a MB A140 -98??? Time to clean the MB and try to sell it... Thanx for listning for my rant and I'll give you an update when I got the car in my possession... Cheers, Zappa
Yeah!!! The prius is at home and I've managed to add about 200km to it during the first 48 hrs... Not the nices weather to bring home a new car on pure "summer" tires, we had a snowstorm and got around 20-30 cm of snow the last 24 hrs and it will stay cold... *brrrr* Soo tomorrow it's time to take out the shovel to free the Prius from the snow in the parking lot where I got stuck when I parked it... *blush* I guess first thing todo on Monday is to get snowtires... Cheers, Zappa
