Has anyone received a CA Green HOV Sticker yet?

My SIL just got hers on sat.. number 32,8xx. she submitted just a little over a week ago.. fast turnaround...

of course I'm still waiting for mine and we only live about an hour apart.. lol

Take your time, there's a good chance there's a few months left. I'm not saying wait until the summer, but you have a few weeks to comfortably shop around.

 

Finally got my sticker.
Sorry I don't remember the exact number but I think it was in the 328xx range.

My application got to the dmv on feb 4th and I received it in mail feb 21st

It could be closer to 6000 actually, considering these numbers being reported are after all the processing time goes through, not at time of purchase.

 

I think you'll be fine if bought this week or maybe even the next couple of weeks. But why not be safe than sorry and go to a dealer that has these stickers allocated already?

 

How soon have people been receiving the California rebate? Mine was approved 7 weeks ago and still waiting on the check to be mailed.

 

I was told that it averages about 6 weeks. I'm still waiting for mine which was approved 4 weeks ago

 

I was told it took 60 days. IIRC, it took almost exactly that.

Got my green sticker earlier this week, #331xx

I think they will run out in the next 2-3 months unless the rate of sales starts to slow as people get cold feet about buying a plug in at the risk of not having a green sticker.

 

...and FWIW, I got my green sticker 5 weeks after I bought my car.

 

Since dealers can now obtain the decals for cars in their inventory before they are sold, that really should not be a problem. The dealer should have the decals ready for you when you sign the paperwork.

 

I speak as a non prius driver.

The Honda ppl are not as savvy I must say.

 

Been almost 60 days for me, no stickers. I think the dealer forgot to submit them.

 

I got mine in 2+ weeks.

BTW, the expiry says 2015. Do we need to renew it every year? Aren't these stickers valid till 2019?

 

Last year the expiration date was changed from Jan 1, 2015 to Jan 1, 2019. No renewal necessary.

 

Just purchased 3/1 Looks like I'll make it as long as I can get my plate# within the next few weeks.....
