I just picked up a 2005 prius with jbl and nav. I am thinking of an after market install, but for the time being I hoped to use the cassette deck with an adaptor to play from my phone. I am able to hear sound fine through the deck but it constantly clicks like it's trying to load a cassette. Anyone have similar experiences?
It's not the cassette deck, it's the type of tape you put in. Those adapter type cassettes always makes a noise SM-N900P ?
I tried a regular cassette in it and it still clicked. I ordered a new deck off eBay last night. The cassette deck is the only way I can listen to my .mp3 player. At 219K in my '01... I'm not putting a new aux-in/bluetooth head unit in it. lol.
