And no, the 12V battery didn't die. It was on for a good 16 hours and the car started up fine. It's 3°C outside and sunny.

I've left the cargo light on overnight several times and no problems...I don't condone such actions, but it does happen on occasion!

Yeah, the cargo light was left on too on a separate occasion. My dad didn't close the hatch properly. This was when the car was new.

I left my 20 Gig iPod on and running by mistake overnight. Not the whole stereo, just the iPod (I'm using iPod2car). Was on song 553 (shuffle mode)! No problems starting the next AM.

...or maybe the car 'wanted' the iPod on?? It was playing a tune from the Rock Against Bush CD volume 2 (Strung Out - No Voice Of Mine)...hmmmm...

My son always farts around with the dome light. I've found it on many times the next morning with no ill effects . . . yet.

I have inadvertently left my map light on overnight. No problem the next morning (12 hours).

We had an officer leave a map light on in an 05' for a week and it killed the battery. it was jumpstarted using the sugested jump start locations.
and it fired right up with a booster pack..

We had a problem with trying to test strobe light bars they kept running the batteries down.

We stitched to dbl head whelen LED talons one pair in front & one pair in the rear along with four corner strobes mounted in the tail lights & headlights.. No battery issues found..

Note: the cars do not have radios mounted in them, but do have computer stands and one portable radio battery charger installed as this does not tax the batteries.

The prius just blends right in. B)
