Glad Toyota is expanding their color pallet.- Something outside of White, Gray, Black or Blue. But I kind of wish it wasn't Yellow they chose. In the area I live we do have Yellow Prius taxi's...so they actually wouldn't look unique, they would just look like Taxi's. I'm going to imagine meager sales in that color. And then I'm going to hope that doesn't discourage Toyota from pushing the envelope in the future.
I went to the dealer today as I mentioned yesterday however the yellow C was not on display. No pic. Sorry.
The Build and Price tool only shows the Sun Fusion color available on the C2 atm. The deep purple is what I would be more interested in anyways, of course I'm still at least 4-5 years out on needing to replace my C.
Toyota is really testing the waters with all these new bright colors, it seems others are starting to follow, Subaru has a new bright lime color, also an orange color and Jeep is selling the Wrangler in Orange, and bright green.
Just as long as no one brings some of the weird colors from the early 70s. I remember my friend's 1970 Corolla (almost bought it) in a strange green shade that looked like guacamole that had started to go bad.
Actual color on dealer lot: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=97204&endYear=2015&modelCode1=PRIUSC&showcaseOwnerId=4745993&startYear=1981&makeCode1=TOYOTA&searchRadius=100&showcaseListingId=357729929&mmt=%5BTOYOTA%5BPRIUSC%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=364260943&Log=0
And thats a badass price on that car... That dealer is also running a double your down payment up to 1k, making it 16,990
Thanks for the link. I hope they bring these into Hawaii... I wonder if they might do a Prius v in this color?
Read fine print. http://www.autotrader.com/popup/specialoffer.xhtml?fromInterstitial=true&listingId=364260943&listingType=new&ownerId=4745993&selectedSpecialId=19586403&specialIds=19586403%2C19598210
Some poor typing skills on the writers part, I like how you can pick out your vehicle toady. The sale price is really $17,990, since the new price is after you put 1k down and they double your cah (is cah as good as $$ in OR?). The C2 lists at $21,235 on Toyota's site, so that is a pretty good price on it. Again this is a C2 in the yellow, and as I mentioned earlier Toyota shows only the 2 available in yellow. Is it only going to be the 2, or is it simply that the yellow 2s are the only ones to have arrived in the states so far?
Whats with the statement "The all new 2012-2015 Prius C" ? Last I checked it was 2014, and 2015 is still another 10 months away. This dealer seems fishy.
Just checked to see if my dealer had the new ones in, only two 2014s in stock both C2s, but neither is yellow. They are offering about $2,500 off and 0% financing on the remaining 2013s, so good time to get one.
A little too yellow-cab for me! But I like the fact Toyota is experimenting with different colors. I love my Barcellona Red but they've had that color for quite a few years now.
