Screwing into the plastic panel below the CD holder box

    My son wants to attach his police scanner to the plastic area below the CD holder box on our '05 Prius. The scanner has a bracket that will allow him to screw it into the panel. But before I tell him it's ok, I want to make sure he won't be hitting any wiring by doing so. Does anyone know if there's anything in there?

    Tried that, but the scanner's much too heavy. Thanks of rate thought though.

    Radio Shack sells SUPER VELCRO. Have you tried that? Let us know how you make out.

    there's nothing to worry about ..i have a 7 inch monitor screwed in below it. there are somethings behind it but nothing you wont mess up unless they are long screws
