Finally they updated the prius c page on their site. In the 2014 brochure, they simplified a lot in their "Features" table compared to the previous year. Some info (i.e. "Tilt/telescopic...with voice controls") is removed. I imagine that voice controls on the steering wheel are still on only the packages 3 and 4, as with the 2013 model, though the 2014 brochure no longer explicitly clarifies this. Oh yeah, I mean: Anyone have new pics of the sunburst yellow?
Me too! Kiiroi daisuki desu. In 2012 when I bought my C2 I really wanted the yellow - looked at the Moonglow, Habanero and the Summer Rain. Summer Rain struck my fancy and I ordered one. Wish they imported the yellow back then.
I saw the new yellow one at my local dealer yesterday. Personally I don't like yellow cars ( taxiiiieee) but to each his own. I am going in for an oil change tomorrow morning and I will take some pics and post tomorrow.
They have been on sale for several weeks in my area, but have not seen a yellow one on the road yet? Maybe an unpopular color like Habanero.
Sun Fusion. I still want one but my 2012 has only 20,000 miles on it and I couldn't justify buying a new car. Servco Toyota website in Hawaii still lists the 2013 Cs and no yellow. Plus I like the Summer Rain...maybe I can convince the wife unit that we need another extra car. "Look honey - I bought an extra car for you - Happy Valentine's!"
Saw one of the new yellow ones at a dealership. Fun color, but so close to taxicab yellow, I wondered if it would cause any confusion since many taxis around here are yellow Prius liftbacks or v's. Imagine someone on a Saturday night after a couple drinks seeing the front end and hailing a random c.! (On the other hand could come in handy if you're planning to join Lyft. ;-) )
It's funny all you guys are fussing over the yellow, but for me it's the new purple colour they now have in Japan. New Prius Aqua on sale next week in Japan | PriusChat Not sure if I could drive one, but a purple c would look nice next to my silver c.
Noticably, they haven't changed the mileage estimate - it still says 53 MPG, though the footnote says "2013 EPA-estimated 53 city/46 highway/50 combined mileage".
That's just a taxi waiting for someone to stick the words Bobs Taxi on it! Just add vinyl letters! Add a meter! BaBoom Taxi!
