Just want to ask everyone how long did your Original tires last. my 2010's Yokohama needs replacement after 25k of easy driving miles.
    Is it normal??

I also have a 2010, and the tires lasted 35,000 miles I believe, although it may have been 30,000.

I was headed towards getting 35-40k when my wife totaled the car, so I will never know.

Might be an anomaly, but I got 52K from my Yokohamas.

I'm at 54K with my Yokohamas. Mostly highway @75mph. Only odd thing is more wear toward the outside. That's consistent for all the tires.

I got 45k out of the bridgestones. I could have got maybe 55k and still be legal but I wanted to be safe. Are you really sure your tires are that bad or is a tire shop telling you they are?

RL, many tires are better than the Yokohamas that were original equipment. Even Toyota dealers often sell much better tires.

My easy miles driving means No hard accelerating or breaking.

    And Mostly city driving.

I am for sure not going to get any set of yokohama. Will try something else.
Is low resistance is a must??

i got 47k out of my stock Yokos. I could have gone 50k but replaced right before 2k round trip drive to florida, didn't want to chance anything.
40k of my 47k was largely interstate driving to and from work.

I have 45K on my stock Good Year tires and they still have about 80% left. I do 90% freeway driving with 43/41 PSI for front and rear.

Edge wear is a symptom of underinflation. I swapped out at ~60000 miles but could have waited.

My Gen III is still doing OK with GY Assurance tires, but they are only at 15K. When these go, I'll replace with some real tires, probably Michelins.

On my former Gen II, I had GY Integrity tires. They only went 24K miles, but was able to get them replaced with GY Assurance tires on warranty. That worked out OK money-wise, but I was still stuck with GY tires.
