Whirring buzzing noise when car is off, in garage hours after shutdown

    The car is receiving messages from the mother ship when making those noises. DON'T INTERRUPT IT! Leave the garage quietly and all will be fine.

    Heads when that buzzing tuurns into a sound that reminds you of a 56K dial up modum your twelve volt is on limited life support.

    I've heard that in my 2013 Prius on two occasions. I then start the car, run it for a moment and then turn it off, the noise stops. Does that mean I've interrupted the fuel evaporation leakage check test? Just seems weird to me.

    I'm not positive, but I think doing this resets it so that it will happen again in another 6 hours or whatever it is.
