I hit the 60,000 mile marker, no major issues, I did replace my front tires with winter tires, best thing I ever did for traction
I'm surprised too...then again - no hesitation to drive out Leeward side, Windward side and any 'kine place. Maybe I gotta go around the island - stop on the North Shore at the shrimp wagons and get some garlic shrimp. The C is fun to drive so it's easy to go all over plus it's cheaper to run than my Prizm.
I'm a little behind OP. This car survived one of the worst winters in the NYC area. I'm definitely getting winter tires for next winter.
We will hit 30k next week. Going to have the dealer do our free 30 k oil change Wednesday. Next time the oil change will be on me. I had a good salesman working for a good dealer. You might try to wiggle a 30 k oil change out of your guys if you have had good luck with them so far. I hit our' s up when we went in for the free 20 k oil change. Got it in writing. Dan
My almost-two-year actual mileage is 49.9. I've gone through two NYC area winters and summers and drive the car the same way I did my 1996 BMW 318ti hatchback.
>>>Your pic shows 31.6 mpg. I am about to buy a Prius C tomorrow and I hope my mpg is better than that!<<< Was thinking the same thing. The OP probably stopped to take the photo when it rolled to exactly 60000. But then I noticed the trip was 21 minutes long with an average speed of only 21 miles per hour. Must be a lot of stop and go involved in that, and then the 27 degrees doesn't help either. Still it does seem a bit on the low side. Would love to hear from Carrollights with a description of that trip.
Turned 79,000 on my 2012 - purchased Nov of that year. Did have to replace the passenger side taillight.
