Can't believe I got one of these things but it's a lot better than my X-Runner on fuel consumption. Not going to even mention the Viper. You don't have a Viper and even think about gas mileage.... lol.

Congrats on your purchase, and welcome aboard.

My personal gas guzzler is my truck. 10mpg is normal, but the things it does makes it worthwhile. I would prefer to drive it all the time, but can't afford it. I guess I should buy more lottery tickets.

As for your Viper, well, you can't go 140mph all the time. But you CAN go 140. That's the important part.

Wow one extreme to another! I've had an M3, AMG C36, Porsche Boxster and a 928 but still love the Prius!

Welcome. I am still a bit shocked that I own a Prius too. However, I cheese uncontrollably when I have to gas it up, lol. We've had some severely cold temps here in WI and I broke down and purchased a hat. My Hubby teased me because he said now I look like all the other Prius ladies that pull into his dealership, lol. Ah well, if you can't beat them, join them right?

The one other thing I've noticed.... people act like they can't wait to get past you on the interstate. I'll be doing 10 over and they drive like there is no way in hell they will follow a Prius, lol. Have you noticed any stereotype treatment since you bought it?

No stereotype treatment out here in Hawaii.(Oahu) Most of my friends just laugh because it is completely opposite from the Viper. But I can't complain... I do a lot of driving around, at 500miles to the tank and only $35 to fill it I'm satisfied.
