I was given some black metallic vinyl from a good friend of mine so I gave it a try. The picture you see here is just the beginning stage. My wife needed the car and couldn't wait so I let her use it in its "ugly" mode. What do you think? iPhone ?
Not sure what your vision is, and I know you said this is the beginning stage, but it looks bad. Beginning stage or not, it doesn't line up with anything. When you're doing vinyl, you have to consider seams, and if you're going to be adding more to the bumper, you're going to have random seams everywhere... What's your vision?
I don't know. At first it was just cover the white and call it good. And as I sit here and look at the car, I wish I could have just done something rlse iPhone ?
Make it a "panda" Prius and blow the minds of the street kids. You'd be hella hipster. You can even fashion an "Initial HSD" decal. Or mess with the HyperREV magazine logo and make it "HyperMILE".
So I finished it. And it was disgusting!! Oh well. I just ordered some more to do my roof. Haha. I took the pictures and decided i should kill myself for disgracing my prius. It's been peeled off. Looks like a mustache.... iPhone ?
Why not just black out the small white lip at the bottom of the bumper? At least the grille will flow all the way to the ground. It would be subtle, but a little more aggressive.
