My prius was wrecked this summer and I am parting it out. I did not have the heart to let the traction battery go to the junkyard providence unknown. The car is in St Louis Missouri The front drivers side was heavily damaged. The Traction Battery was replaced by Toyota in 2011. So it is 2 years new (20k miles). I am asking $1000 for the battery or best offer. As the battery is the best you will get, I think it is worth a premium price The car is silver with gray interior The interior is a bit warn. But everthing works (drivers airbag blew, all others are complete) Everything else is for sale, I am figuring $100 for each door (complete), $150 for the hatch, Two tires have about 70%+ tread, michelins, two have blown tires rims OK. Steel wheels. I figure $25 for each rim, $50 each rims/tires. All prices do not include shipping, of course no charge for someone who arrainges for pickup I have the MFD, nav system, etc etc etc I think the steering underneath escaped damage. I now have the time to take it apart, so I should be able to respond quickly. hyattdj at yahoo dot c
If the HV battery has been sitting around for several months, it is definitely not "the best you will get". Was it at least fully charged before it was taken offline?
Compared to junkyard batteries. I have to disagree. But I am selling parts off my car not debating "a perfect world". In a perfect world, the bitch who would not return my car, and her son whom was to never drive my car would both be in jail for stealing my car....or better yet would have not hid my car from me before they wrecked it.
I am interested in rear drivers side door. What is condition of paint? Any dings or dents on door? Are you willing to ship if I pay for shipping cost? Could you please send pics
Since junkyard batteries can sit for months or a year or more...and they would have 10 years on the life How would it be bad for this battery? I have had NiMH batteries sit in devices for a couple of years without recharging and they retained their charge. The car had just come off a long drive so the battery was certainly fully charged.
What version of Nav DVD did you have in the car, and if it is a more recent update (i.e. 12.1 or 13.1... unlikely, I guess) would you be willing to sell it separately from the rest of the Nav unit? I could trade you my older version (9.1) if you need a disc.
Could you get me a shipped to 73099 price on the Drivers side front floor mat and the factory roof antenna? Thanks! Dave Feel free to text me 405-410-6864
