My '11 Prius has developed a problem where the rear passenger door will not open from the inside. It will open from the outside. All other doors function as they should. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced the same problem and was able to resolve it without going to the dealer. Thanks.
Child safety lock. There is a lever/switch inside the rear door when you open it that activates/deactivates the child door lock. If you can't find it read about it in the manual, there may even be a picture, not sure. Here, this image is not from the Prius manual but they generally all look alike once you open the rear door and look for the 'switch':
