Thanks Hot Rod, COB6132 is the last chassis built by AC cars in 1968. It remained a chassis until 1981 when Brian Angliss who purchased AC cars built an aluminum body from the original factory bucks with the original factory panel beaters. A 1968 427 side-oiler was installed. It is not a kit car. It is not a Shelby or an AC MK IV but a genuine AC Cobra .
Noooo! Please man, no. lol What opposites. One of the cleanest cars against one of the most polluting. Fun and simple though, and you don't see many of them around any more. You'll have to post some pics

I love that body style of the 'burb. I took my 6 kids to the Chrysler Proving Grounds during an open-house and we drove the test roads in my '93 Suburban, including the banked oval at 80 and 85 MPH with no hands.
Hi Grumpy, It does! Once I was stopped at a red light and the 427 had already triggered a car alarm on a parked vehicle when a LAPD squad car with two officers rolled up next to me. The 427 was grumbling, spitting, coughing and making indecent sounds. i was afriad to look at the officers in fear I would get arrested for noise. Instead they both gave me a thumbs up. Of course I rolled away very slowly and carefully but triggered another alarm on the way. Such is life with a monster engine like this
I've had it for 11 years. I drive it occasionally on drives up the coast or to car shows but always come home with a grin and a smile. I get a lot of thumbs up. Ladies seem to like the red color too as my friend who has a real blue Shelby 427SC doesn't get that much attention. Thanks
