for only $23,900 --- i'm excited yet a little concerned.

Called the selling dealership and they have confirmed that the car is selling for that price. The picture they have on the internet does not agree with the standard features listed on their website - appears that they have listed the standard equipment for a trim level 2/3, definitely not the trim level 5.

Anyhow, is there a quick way to find out if the VIN number for the vehicle is for a trim level 5 not a 2/3. Checked online with no success....what other option do i have?

Going to get the car tonight or tomorrow, but is there anything i should pay close attention to...carfax report shows the car is clean, but doesn't guarantee me the car has not been in an accident.

    Thank you in advance!

If the picture shows a Five, I would go with that. A lot of times the dealer doesn't go through and list the features of the actual car and just uses the standard features. You can find deals a lot of times since the dealer doesn't know what he really has.

Have the link to the car?

The car has a little over 15K miles - which i find a little high considering the car was only owned for 6 months (based on the car fax report).

I don't think 15K is unusual in metro areas. I put 44K on my plug in after 15 months. Had also had my EV for 6 months, already have 13K on it.

Got her on Sunday - such a lovely car to drive.

Drove 160 miles back to the Bay Are with an average speed of 70 mpg and a surprising 43.6 mpgs. Keep in mind i had my two kids and wife in the car, so the MPGs were awesome.

Couple of things i noticed that I was hoping for that i didnt find in V:

    1) My 2012 Prius liftback has this cool feature that if i touch the volume control or setting on the steering wheel it appears on the dashboard. I dont see this on the Prius V, or could it broken?
    2) I miss having the total miles driven and MPG result on the dashboard after every trip. Is there anything similar in the setting that may provide this information? I've looked through the settings with no avail.

And just to confirm, it is a Prius trim level 5 - i totally scored on the price!

Per trip? Running miles per trip is on the CAR screen Until you shut off. or you could use Trip B
Lifetime? If you NEVER play with the history screen, then the odometer has the lifetime mileage.

Odometer = Lifetime so long as you stay off the history screen (I have a three, there may be differences)
    Trip A = Gas Tank
    Trip B = Per trip?

    would be one plan.

I was looking for MPGs per trip, so i'll take a closer look at the CAR screen tonight.

Right now i have Trip A = Gas Tank (like you)
    Not using Trip B

    thanks for the help.
