I have a brand new optima battery from Amazon I bought on sale for a friend. After I purchased the battery, my friend couldn't wait and got one from the dealer. Now I have this battery that Amazon won't allow me to return. Got it on sale for $165.00 including tax. It's still sealed in the Amazon box, I have not opened it yet. If anybody needs it and in the Los Angeles area, I have it here. I can help you install if you like, only takes about 10 minutes. A dealer would normally charge $300 for the battery and installation. This will be a good savings.
Do you still have the battery and does it matter as to what year of Prius? I have a 2009 Prius....I live in the LA area.
I'm really not making a profit and giving away my services for free. The battery will cost you more anywhere else. I think including labor for $165 is very fair. Will that be acceptable? I can meet around Burbank but it will be Thursday or Friday.
