Hi everyone! Buying my first Prius tomorrow morning!!! 2010 model 3, Certified Pre-Owned. So excited to join the club What is the latest model of navigation system available? The dealer has agreed to update the system for me free of charge and I want to be able to check that I'm getting the latest update, and google isn't helping in this case. Also, should I be asking for a general firmware update or is updating the navigation system enough? 2010 doesn't have Entune, does it? Many thanks in advance!!
Generation 6 map version 12.1 and on the DVD you can see U94. Some people say the next update might be out in 1-2 months.
Hello, yesterday I just purchased a 2010 Prius and am interested in the best way to upgrade the maps as well. Does anyone know an alternative to paying the exorbitant DVD fees at the dealer? And has the newest 2013 version dropped? Thanks!
In North America, the latest map version is 13.1 that was released in the Fall of 2013. Legal alternative? no.
As far as a legal method, there is none, however, if you were to search a certain nautical themed torrent site for Toyota U94, you'll find it. I just upgraded from 9.1 to 12.1 last night. Haven't found 13.1 yet.
I think it is, but since you're that far behind, it's hard to say for sure. If you're willing to go through alternative channels to get it, you have nothing to lose, since you aren't paying for it. You will need a DVD burner capable of writing dual layer discs as well as some blank DL DVD-Rs.
