Just signed last night... $4700 down, + 23 payments of $52... ends up around $245/month, and I am very happy....
Sounds like a good length for a lease. Why $52 a month payments? I had a 36 month lease on another brand car and made one total payment up front. Although it would be neat to write a monthly car payment in the amount of $52, I'd probably avoid the hassle and pay that up front also.
Frontier in Valencia. Again it was in their ad for the weekend, and I waited till 8pm on Sun to try. Completely hassle free, only downside was colors were black, or silver, but hey for that money I took the silver. As a matter of fact I tried to make Keys and Thousand Oaks to match it (cause they're closer to where I live) but both declined after seeing the numbers...
I was thinking about doing that this morning... just paying it off and not worring about it - Probably I would do that.. And I signed the deal this was just because that how they had it in the newspaper ad.. $4400 plus tax/reg and $49/month.. which for whatever reason ended up being a little less since $52 is after tax..
The purchase was for my nephew who'd be doing deliveries with it, so yeah - much better for him. But I have very low mileage, I'm not even sure I would max out the 12K... I probably won't go over 20K for the 24 months.
I'm into cars that are worth $4000. Especially a used Prius......I'm interested!! I need a vehicle at work that my co-workers can abuse without me caring.
Would you be interested in beating that offer? Cause I was gonna put it on Craigslist for a week (while the Carmax offer is valid and see if someone would pay more) It has 115K miles, new tires, aftermarket gps/audio (I can leave the attached 60 or 120GB Ipod even), and the engine is not sounding all that great... but running fine
