    Hello,

After 3 Prius's(the last a PIP) and 8+ years, I am resigning from PriusChat.

Thanks for all of the help over the years. It turns out that I was so turned on by EV driving, that for my daily driving the Volt is perfect.

    GM-Volt: Chevy Volt Forum

Check out this forum for Volts. We actually have both. My wife likes the PiP and I like the Volt. The both have their strengths and weaknesses - but they are both great cars. I've gone about 4K miles in the Volt and have used about 8 gallons of gas. Enjoy your Volt! (HID's is a good place to start tinkering)

We need someone from Team Toyota to sign in and say:

"Looks like our work here is done..."

We also purchased a 2014 Volt in Oct. 2013. We still have our 2010 Prius. My wifes daily driver is
the Volt with a 32 miles round trip to her business she never as to use a drop of gas. The Prius is
my daily driver, last fill up it was getting 45 mpg with winter driving and many short range trips, this is
calculated mpg's as the display is reading about 3.5 mpg over.

The Volt does not get as good gas mileage but still about 38 mpg when you run strictly on the gas engine.
