The warranty book has both Federal and California in it, but my original window sticker has FE 50 State Emissions, so I'm not sure if that means I'm not covered to 150 or not. I am the original owner, bought in Maryland.

Maryland probably was not covered under CARB for model year 2007. Check with the Toyota Customer Experience Center in Torrance, CA for confirmation.

The wording is "sold and registered" in a CARB state. If it is titled in Virginia then Maryland's status doesn't matter. I didn't see Virginia on the list.

I checked with Toyota Customer Care Service and all my warranties ended, so I'm out of luck on that. Wasn't really surprised, but I had to check. So, next is what to do with it. Would love to fix it but it is my only transportation for my 70-mile/day commute so I can't just park it for a week or two waiting on parts and fixing it. Dealer estimate for a brand new Toyota HV battery installed was 3K parts and labor. I'll keep you posted. Year end clearance on 2013s is on. I just think the Gen II is hard to beat.
