i picked my blizzard pearl up in october. wanted a 14 but didnt look like they were coming in anytime soon. plus those sales guys are always so pushy. good choice with color
The clear bras yellow with time, I went with a vinyl bra, works well and I don't have to worry about yellowing or seeing the seams across the hood. But each their own!
I believe I paid about $500 to get my front end, mirrors, and door handle cups done at the dealer I bought my car from. There are many places that do the vinyl wraps these days. Do a lot of research and find a good one that you like. Headlamps and windshields can be done also. I understand the windshield is a special wrap specifically designed for that. Mike
Hi Jhigga 15, Congrats on your P3 SolarRoof. I'm going to be in the market for a P3 with the solar roof too and saw from your signature you reside in SoFL. Mind sharing your dealer and your buying experience?
I bought my Prius from Ron Dufreen at Lexus of Kendall (Kendall Toyota). They took really good care of me and everything was very smooth.
Just purchased a 2014 Prius Level Four in Black. Had considered a leftover 2013 Level Five in Silver but chose the different color instead. In fact, we owned a Level Five back in 2010 and loved it but opted for the Sunroof Package this go around. I figured that Level Five wheels (or others) could always be added later while a Sunroof couldn't hence the reason for choosing the Four. I will honestly say that if a Black Level Five were available close by it would've made the decision a little harder. I found a lot of Level Four models, not many Fives at all, and Blizzard Pearl and Winter Grey there seemed to be many of, less cars with Sunroofs (nice to have in So Cal). We also took advantage of the zero percent financing for thirty-six months. Our kids think that it's "ugly but pretty cool" and my spouse was eager to drive it home. One of us commutes, but that wasn't the reason for the purchase, we just like what the Prius offers (all the necessary amenities, lots of space, fuel economy, and relatively low price point) and what it's all about. That and the ownership experience is typically a good one. They're fun cars
I also took advantage of the financing special. I think the moon roof is a must, I had a gen 2 with no moon roof and I missed it. It's great weather today (It's 68 out) for the open roof... the 3 is good so far but the sound system is weak and the seat fabric is poor also... But those things can be sorted out later
I have a 14 year old 4Runner that has been SOOO reliable that I would hate to have to trade it....basically giving it away so I would be doing a no trade deal. There are no 2013s available to haggle with so do you mind sharing what your buying price was? Plus I hear that there is a Toyota $500 loyalty discount....anyone heard of this or is this pure BS?
I believe that there were different deals for different regions, I do remember seeing a $500 discount of some type advertised. The 2013 Level Five model we considered was negotiable down to about 10%-11%, the 2014 Level Four w/sunroof model we bought down to about 6% (off MSRP). We live in the land of the car (Los Angeles) where Priuses reign supreme, your locales may differ.
The sticker was 29,563 with everything. I paid around 26... I bet some have got it cheaper and some have paid more, but I was happy and work pays for my car anyways (and gas so they should be happy)
Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place, new to the forum. I'm looking to buy a Prius soon...hopefully this summer. Do any of you know how often Toyota offers 0% financing? I know it's being offered right now but it ends on 2/3. I don't think I'm quite ready to commit to a new car but I'm wondering if I'll regret on passing up this offer.
The Toyota deal is 0% financing or $1000 additional off the sticker so I guess which you choose depends on your financial condition and how much you have to finance……..
