Removing Side Mirror Cover ... How?

    Hello all,

    I've whacked my passenger side mirror and cracked the lens on the turn signal. I've ordered the replacement part, $17.31 for a complete assembly, lens, housing, plug and bulb. Now I researched some threads about adding direction arrows on the mirror glass and removing the mirror from the mirror housing but:

    How do you remove the cover off the mirror?

    From prior threads it appears you DO NOT have to remove the door panel.

    From another thread on removing the mirror, here's the side mirror still attached to the door and with the cover off.

    How do you get the cover off ?
