Hello, I just have a question about my backup camera. I never noticed this until today, so I am wondering if something happened, but are you supposed to see the bottom part of your back bumper when the car is in reverse and the backup camera is engaged? I have had the car for about a month now and never noticed that until today. Last week I took it through an automatic car was and am just concerned that maybe it got moved around, or maybe i just never realized it. Any help would be great..thanks
Yes, you should see the bumper at the very bottom of the screen. Its not always easy to see depending on lighting.
ok..thanks, i was worried that something happened during the car wash. I don't always pay attention, I probably just noticed today..it could have been the way the light hit it..
The UPPER part of the rear bumper should be visible. The edge of the bumper also should match two markers on the screen below the red line. I have older model than yours but I think in general the screen is alike. . In some unusual cases when the picture doesn't correspond to the basic pattern it is always possible to adjust geometry of the camera in accessory or service mode.
No buttons are displayed when the camera is on. In settings, there are no options available for the camera.
On my screen in upper left corner is the icon which enables/disables guidelines in three different patterns.
No guideline on prius 2013 three/persona, and do not know on four/five model by assuming 2013 liftback model. I am pretty sure. I checked options for two/three/persona 2013 models on dealers before got sold on liftback 2013 two.
I test drove 2013 prius 4/5 and both didn't have guideline nor setting. perhaps these features differ by region (Europe/America)?
