Well, not bright red, red with a tinge of orange to it, but more red than orange. And, it is an old CRT monitor.
Here's the photo I took of the orange PC from my local car share last year. On my screen it's more faithful to the true colour than the four posted just upthread, but even then it doesn't quite capture how bright the colour is. Galaxy Nexus ? 4
While I agree with you I think those two photos look primarily salmon to me, as in there is virtually no orange in them. It looks like a salmon-red if anything. So strange. I think we may just have different eyes because cmstlist's photo is what I usually see in person when I see a Habanero c! Well, it is at least closer than the four pictures you posted, ztanos. It does change color depending on the angle. And yes, his picture is closer than all 4 of mine. I have gone out at times and my car almost was a perfect Salmon color.
You can get plastidip spray cans at home depot. I used 4 cans. If I ever find I don't like it, I can peel it off and bring them back to original. youtube plastidip. It really is a remarkable product.
I have a friend who also tried this on his red Civic Si and it turned out great! Didn't know it was so inexpensive and relatively easy to do! The contrast between the black rims and Habanero changes the entire look IMO!! Thanks for the info!!
