Hello all. I just got finished putting in a Soundstream VR-652nb head unit into my 04 Prius. Everything is working great except when I try to play a DVD, the stereo thinks the car is driving. Even when I'm in Park with the E brake on or in Acc mode, the head unit still thinks that the car is driving. Has anyone dealt with this before with a DVD aftermarket head unit? Thanks in advance.
There was probably a wire that you were supposed to hook up to the parking brake sensor, did you? There are also ways to spoof it. They vary depending on what your headunit wants you to do to enable "parked mode".
