Removed rear Bumper. Found a sensor/aerial?

    Hi all! I removed the rear bumper to repair a dent I caused while backing up(reversing). I know I should have taken a photo. I found a plastic device with thin wires running to it. I removed it and took it apart and found what looked like an aerial inside it. At first I thought maybe a sensor for the air bags in a rear-ender, but then when I dismantled it it reminded me of an aerial from a portable radio. Could it be either an AM or FM aerial?

    It could be one of the oscillators which detect the key fob for the Smart Key System. Hard to say without a photo.

    EDIT: edthefox5 beat me to it. :p

    SKS antenna makes perfect sense. Thank you!

    ASIO won't be spying on me any more. I put a dollop of strawberry conserve on it. Now it's jammed!:ROFLMAO:
