I have heard it is very easy but haven't read any of the detailed instructions yet. I will look into it. Maybe a project for next year when I can work on it when the temperatures are a little more mild?

Yes, but I don't want to be fiddling with setting it up when it's already 30 degrees out! What temperature do people usually put them on and take them off? I wonder if it would even be worth it when DC's crazy weather (easily 30 one day, 60 the next in January). Is there a negative to having them on over a certain temp if you live in a climate like me with wild temperature fluctuations? Do you take them off and put them on daily or just for a season, like winter tires? You guys are convincing me to look into this. I'm becoming *gasp* a Prius person.
