I realize the 2 inch is probably overkill but I already had a Yakima bike rack and cargo carrier that required a 2 inch receiver and I didn't want to mess with adapters. It was the only 2 inch I could find but I lucked out and got 45 bucks off on cyber Monday. Install was fairly straight forward. It would have been much easier if I had someone helping. Balancing the hitch while trying to bolt it on can be a bit challenging. I'm getting ready for a trip to Tahoe so this will be very helpful. Turn off signatures in Tapatalk Tapatalk
Not sure why I'm unable to post pics. I'm getting a network error from the app. I'll have to try later Turn off signatures in Tapatalk Tapatalk
Hello! Thanks for posting this. I'm interested in the Ecohitch and doing some research...From what I've read in the forum so far there seems to be a newer model. Did you get the newer one? The older model required some sheet metal cut during install, according to some owners. Def. don't want to do that. Any more info on your install? What did you use to cut the plastic? Cheers!
