Finally came back to the Prius family.

I had a 2006 Prius until about 2011, sold it for a 2012 CT200h, quickly sold that for a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, which I just sold for the 2014 Prius!

So glad to be back.. I shouldn't of wasted my time on the other options. I picked up the Prius (4 I think?) from Tustin Toyota on Tuesday of this past week. Had the dealer deactivate the beeps on Wednesday then had tint put on. I just ordered the Stage10 button shifter, any other suggestions?

The biggest so far is Entune doesn't work over Bluetooth for my iPhone 5. I'd prefer to keep my iPod classic plugged into the center console and stream my iPhone when I want to use Pandora and such..

Excellent car choice. Tough to escape the Prius mind hold! You could probably hear it while you drove those "other" cars... "these are not the cars you should be driving!" :)

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

The CT200h was just a dumb decision on my part. I still wanted to be driving a 'Prius' of sorts but wanted something a little more luxurious. I should've gone with the Prius in hindsight. The CT was way too cramped and the ride was pretty much unbearable (for a 'luxury hybrid').

The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was extremely nice for the price. I realized it was a little bigger than I needed, and constantly seeing 18MPG - 22MPG kind of bugged me over time. I hated the Hyundai dealerships I had dealt with (compared to Toyota or Lexus). The keyless entry required hitting a button on the door, and only the drivers window was auto.

I'm looking into the Cusco underbody braces, some sways, and a front strut brace now for the Prius. :)

    I've owned:

    1971 Trans Am
    2006 Prius
    Audi RS4
    BMW M3 (supercharged)
    Evo IX MR
    Toyota Highlander
    Hyundai Santa Fe
    CT200h
    2014 Prius

And the 1 car I actually regretted selling (maybe a tiny bit of me misses the Evo MR) was the Prius. So anyone considering the above mentioned cars - be warned!

    Nice, that looks great!

I'm definitely not going to switch out spring, coilovers, or rims & tires because I'm mortified of going back to the ride quality of the CT200h.

prius has a pretty sweet ride for a car it's size. tyres make a big difference, but you give up some mpg's for softer ride.

Very nice car. Very interested to see your comments re the CT. I like the look of them, however, the cost a premium over the Prius and I thought that they were a Prius under the body

The fairly fancy and rather expensive CT200h is more exactly like the old Matrix/Vibe and not quite a Prius in any measurement.

Interior of the CT200h is very nicely done, but the exterior is only marginally nicer that the latest iteration of the Toyota Matrix. The only thing I can figure about the Matrix's design is that Toyota must have been experimenting, and decided to design, in complete isolation, the front in California, the sides in Europe and the rear in China. Then they sent the pieces in and Toyota had them welded together.

It looked pretty disjointed to me, especially at first. Maybe I've gotten used to seeing them once in a while, but still not my favorite look on the road. Matrix not be around after the 2013s.

What was that Matrix rant all about? Oh, the relation to the CT200h instead of Prius. Sorry about that.

The Cusco braces are a great addition to the Prius, but so would a nice set of alloys. They don't have to be the mpg detracting 17 inchers, but 16s would look good!

Wow that's an impressive list of cars (The Audi, BMW and EVO) and you still came back to a Prius... interesting!
The MPG is huge.. i was just thinking how much i want a Subaru over the weekend but instantly remembered how i felt driving much lower MPG vehicles and how i feel now only spending $28 a week to drive this Prius.

It will definitely be real hard to go with any other vehicle for daily commute!

Great MPG makes a big difference, especially when you look at the miles we travel commuting to work and back each day. I know folks that drive over 50 miles one way by themselves in vehicles that have room for 5 or 7 people, getting almost 20 MPG and and then wonder where their money goes. After a few years. there's a small fortune that's burned through the exhaust. After our 2005 Prius, I was definitely hooked on this car.

I forgot to add the ONE major reason i also got a prius is the ability to drive in the HOV lane by myself.

Where do you live? In California, only plug-in hybrids have access to the HOV lane!

You're lucky if you get to use HOV with a standard hybrid.
