is there any way to have like sort of coming home light or entry lights? So basically when I unlock my car using the remote, the headlights and the foglights switch on? I think it looks pretty neat and would be happy if someone helps
In Gen 2, the auto off is set to turn off when you open the driver's door. In Gen 3, you can have a 30, 60, or 90 second delay to the auto off, after you open a door, which is what I think you want. (I still set mine to no delay)
If you have an after market door lock/alarm/ auto-starter, they sometimes have auxiliary wires that you can use to customize feature like strobe-lights, trunk release, kung fu monkey, etc. etc. you could use one of these hooked up to your head lights and fog lights and be able to turn them on with a button on your key fob.
my garage door opener, sears, has extra buttons, and you can buy plug in recievers to plug a lamp etc. into and turn them on from car when you get home.
