Is there a way to turn off the beep I get when I push the MFD mechanical and touch screen buttons? I'd rather the button pushing was quiet when I use the AC, Climate, etc buttons. I searched around but could not find anything specific to my question. Thanks.
Does no response mean it cannot be done? That would be too bad because the beeping every time I check the Climate/Audio/Energy controls is getting kind of old.
Good afternoon. Yes, there is a way to turn off the beeping you hear when touching the MFD screen. I am not in my vehicle right now but I believe you have to go into the general sttings area and you will find a way to set the beep on or off. I turned mine off for a while but I have it on again now. Pleas let me know if you cannot find the menu I am talking about so that I can see exactly where the option is located.
These two threads lead me to believe that I cannot turn the beeps off in my '05.
