Can anyone confirm that the TRD 24mm Front Anti-Roll Bar for the Matrix actually fits the Prius? I already have the rear put in. Finally, after several years of ownership, decided to do something about the Front. I'm debating whether to go with a TRD front-bar or just a stock Matrix/Corolla bar from Toyota. Thanks!!
BRILLIANT IDEA! nothing better than uncontrolled body roll. doncha just love it when your car flops all over the place when you're in the twisties?
why couldn't you not just remove the front sway bar and just replace the front springs with stiffer progressive ones?
if you use springs so stiff that they will negate body roll, the ride quality will suck. unless you live in a place where the govt actually does their job and fills pot holes promptly (does a place like that even exist?) it'll pound your fillings out driving to work. for those of us stupid enough to live in the DC area, there are a bazillion pot holes / mile. so the sway bar does what its supposed to do, and still lets you have a reasonably smooth ride. the 24mm Corolla/Matrix bar works fantastic; anyone who has installed one will agree.
must be nice. canada takes good care of its roads huh? around here the idiots use so much road salt if they even think it might snow. seems like most people in this area are weather wimps.
yep my municipality just dumped millions into new roads in my city pretty much every road is brand new.
I will let you know how my car handles when I take the front stab bar off and put some Cusco or Ksport adjustable coil over on, and upgrade the rear stab bar.
