I received my antenna in the mail today....hopefully I finally get the car tomorrow!

Time to start looking for some all weather mats and I need to make an appointment with my window tint guy to get 15% tint installed all the way around.

 

Here is another POSITIVE post on the Chrysler Antenna 5064253AB. My old Unicorn antenna made my reception completely full static. I have a funny feeling that the previous owner let the antenna stay on while it went through the car wash. In any case, I no longer have the urgent need to replace the factory radio due to poor reception. Thanks for the tip!

My AM radio reception sucked too. I've got to say, this $4 antenna improved my reception noticeably. Not perfect, but a heck of a lot better than it was. Very pleased.

 

Thanks to this thread I picked up one today for $4.47 after tax. I will put it on my Prius I bought last week when I get home. Interested to see how the color matches. Chose this over the sharkfin because $4 is better than $65.

 

Although this thread is 4 years old, just want to update the thread on what the part is like today. Color is more flat black than the gloss black of the base, but matches the rubber between the antenna base and the roof. I was displeased in the line on the antenna where the plastic was molded together. But can't notice it from afar. Reception is very good living in the East Valley of Phoenix. Overall, good buy for $4.

Could you please tell me which dealer you purchased this from? Dealers in my area are asking for $20 for this antenna. Not sure if prices just went up but that's a big jump from just a 3-5 years. Dealer name and city would be great.

These antennas are around $28 in my area. I was hoping I can get one for around $4-$5.
