Main water pump leaking, now oil in spark plug

    For patsparks,
    Here is the page from the LSC with the range of VINs so you can check. Don't know if you have any recourse after the fact, but it's possible if your VIN is included.
    It says "TMS warranty will not reimburse dealers for repairs conducted on vehicles that are not affected or were completed by another dealer", so if you had a Toyota dealer perform the replacement you probably need to go to or call the same one to check if reimbursement is possible.

    Check your Owners Manual. For my 2007 the capacities start on page 430, engine oil capacity is on page 432:
    ENGINE LUBRICATION
    Oil capacity (drain and refill), L (qt., lmp.qt.):
    With filter 3.7 (3.9, 3.3)
    Without filter 3.4 (3.6, 3.0)
    Always remember it's easier to add a little more than to try to get some out. As long as it's between the lines it's OK, and you may not be draining all 100% when you pull the plug.
