Hi everyone, I have bought my 2005 prius back in 2005. Back in time with the hot market, i have to pay $500 deposit at msrp and waited for 6months to get it. Now im thinking about getting the new prius package3. Wondering what is the recent price that i should negotiate at the dealer. Im located at san jose CA. According to kbb, the fair market is $24653. Is this possible?
I'd think so especially for 2013. Slow time of year for sales, good time to buy. My 2011 three w/o nav (different than current one) paid $22,688 (although CA tax was calc'd on that plus $1k, then $1k rebate applied). New Three is a better deal than 2010/11 plain three cause you get: 3 door smart key, USB port, audio touchscreen, HD radio, backup camera and navigation. Those are good features. You lose the JBL, but for most that doesn't matter.
The dealer quote 25780 last week for 2013 white prius. And 7000 for the trade in 2005 prius package 5 at 97000 miles.
I just purchased a 2013 Prius Three Solar in Blizzard Pearl for 25692 plus tax, & all fees here in GA. You should be able to get a Three w/o sunroof for about 24500 plus tax etc. especially now that the '14's are out.
Go to truecar.com and check the recent prices. I bought a 2013 pkg3 with only a mat set for $23100 + tax + lic + fees = $25553 OTD. Color selection now is limited. Two days after I bought it, Toyota added another $500 on the rebate. Oh well.... gk
