Defect or "External Influence" with Melted Plastic

    my dealership took no responsibility but the customer service rep contacted the toyota corporate office and they are doing a one time fix, I think the black cars are the issue. where you park your car are there any windows even small ones. My neighbor has two small windows 16 x 16 thats all. lets face it no matter what the cars shouldn't melt. where did you buy your car?

    so far, is it mostly just dark colored cars that are affected by this phenomena???

    Hi the corporate office would not fix mine...i am thinking of parking in front of the dealership if i have to with a sign on it saying this is what they gave me....i have six areas ...we all have windows the car shouldnt melt has yours been fixed yet?
