It depends on who is doing the measuring and in what kind of tunnel. GM measured the Prius with 17" wheels at 0.30. Regardless, my objective was to illustrate how important wheels and wheel wells are to overall aerodynamics. This wasn't meant to wow you. It was meant to make people think about their wheel choices a little more carefully.

And GM tried to dispute Toyota's Cd claim because the former did their testing with the wheels standing still and the latter with the wheels spinning. If wheels are important to overall aerodynamics (as in BMW's case), then we know whose testing is more accurate.
Do you suppose this will be an upgrade that the Gen IV prius will have to further improve fuel efficiency (thus lowering carbon emissions)?
