New BP owner in Arizona (tint)

    I'm tinting my windows tomorrow but I'd like to hear what Az Prius owners are getting. I'm doing the pinnacle series tint . I'm thinking 30% on sides and 20 hatch and front visor strip (5").

    I'd also do 30% on the lower rear hatch. Dark tints look best on BP.

    I have the 3M crystalline thermal tint 20%. looks great.

    Been considering tint for next summer but just curious about a few things. It is a film that goes inside the windows so is it affected by any kind of glass cleaners or cleaning methods? Will an excited small dog clawing at the window, as frequently happens, affect it? What are the prices that are normally charged for applying it?

    Ask your tint guy for "Arizona legal" and put the darkest possible tint that's allowed by law. It will look fantastic on the BP.

    Oh, and you may want to consider adding 3M crystalline 70% tint to the front windshield. It's nearly invisible but it's great at reducing the interior temp of the car when parked in the sun.
